REGISTRATION IN CLOSED FOR SPRING SESSION… Please check back in April for Fall session registration info, classes and dates
Our Spring 2010 Semester will be 8 weeks long & includes the following dates: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & April 12, 19, & 26. We begin our day at 9:00 am with Open Assembly and have 4 hours of classes including an hour for lunch. All classes conclude at 2:10 followed by a short time of music. We are typically finished by 2:30. There is a $40.00 Registration Fee for each family (regardless of how many students you have). Classes are for school-aged homeschool students (K-8th), and there are nursery, toddler, and Pre-K classes available for siblings of school-aged students.
To register, please do the following:
1) Read the Parent Handbook.
2) Look through the lists and descriptions of classes being offered.
3) Fill out the registration form and list your 1st and 2nd choice for each hour.
4) Fill out the Signature Page.
5) Mail the forms to Rachel Rowland (address at bottom of signature page). Registrations will be numbered in the order they are received; teachers, returning families, and new families. In order to process your registration we have to have your full registration fee including any/all class fees. Make registration check payable to HFHG-South. If you are in need of a tuition waiver, please email me (Dana Britt, director) to request a form britt.dana@att.net . Leadership will decide on amount for waiver. We are requiring anyone applying for a waiver to pay a $10.00 down payment.
6) If you are new to co-op and not a HFHG Inc. member, there is a $25 membership fee. This fee needs to be a separate check written to HFHG.
7) Open registration is January 11, 2010 from 10:30 am -11:30 am.
Other Reminders:
The teachers have listed the grades that each class is geared toward. If your child is a little younger or a little older, you may attend the class only with prior teacher approval. Each teacher’s e-mail address is listed next to their name (in the class description) for your convenience.
Registration is on a first-come basis. (ie: teachers first, then returning members, then new members). Due to class sizes, we can only accommodate a certain number of students in each class. Once the maximum is reached, (10 students per class), we will then begin a waiting list. Each teacher has the option to allow for a bigger class depending on the topic/curriculum.
