as we are thrilled to have a VERY special guest speaker: Todd Wilson, the
Familyman!!!

TODD WILSON, author of Help! I’m Married to a Homeschooling Mom and The Official
Book of Homeschooling Cartoons, is a dad, writer, conference speaker, and former
pastor. Todd’s humor and gut-honest realness have made him a favorite speaker at
homeschool conventions across the country and a guest on Focus on the Family.
Todd and his wife Debbie, along with their eight children spend several months
of the year traveling the country encouraging moms and dads. His humor,
realness, and straight talk to men (& women) have become his trademark.

If you’ve never been, HFHG LIVE! is a night of inspiration, encouragement, and
fellowship for homeschool parents. The first 150 parents that walk through the
door will receive a goodie bag and we’ll be giving away awesome doorprizes all
evening!!

The Unbeatable Homeschool Team! – In the sometimes bleak and harsh world of
homeschooling, we need each other if we’re to make it through in one piece and
impact the world. So, if you’ve homeschooled for over 10 years, are new to the
game, or are about to toss in the towel, you need to be here. And in case you
are a dad and think you’re off the hook, you’re not! You’re needed most of all.
I promise that you’ll laugh, be encouraged, and be challenged in YOUR distinct
role on the homeschooling team.

I can’t wait to see each and every one of you there! It’s going to be an
awesome night!!

HFHG’s 2nd annual swim party is scheduled at E P Tom Sawyer Park for Friday, July 30th from 7 to 9 p.m. Along with the swim party, we will have a pot-luck
dinner. The dinner starts at 6:00 on the upper deck. Please bring meat or main dish for your family, your family’s drinks & a dish (side or dessert) to share.

Last year, we all had a blast even though the weather turned cool that day. There is lots of room to swim & for the young ones (or young at heart) to play & have fun with friends, since we have the pool to ourselves. It is not open to the public during this event.

This is a free event for members of HFHG, Inc. (If you are a member, you should have a membership card. This is a separate thing than being a member of the
HFHG email loop.) If you are not a member, this is the perfect opportunity to join & start reaping the benefits, including free events. Otherwise, the cost is $3.00 per person, with a family cap of $10.00.

Although you may decide at the last minute to attend without making reservations, it will help us organize if we know how many to expect. In order for us to know an approximate number of people to provide drinks for, please SIGN UP for the party HERE or send me an email at je2911@bellsouth.net letting me know your family will attend, how many will attend, and what you will bring to share for the pot luck dinner. I will post the list close to the date in case anyone wants to add to
the available variety of dishes.

Kids’ Craft Fair

This is for HFHG kids to make and sell their own crafts!  Tables are free for HFHG members on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please contact Teri Eisenmenger (je2911@bellsouth.net)  to reserve a table.
