Stage One presents...If you Give a Pig a Party
If you give a pig a party, she's going to ask for some balloons. When you give her the balloons, she'll want to decorate the house. When she's finished, she'll put on her favorite dress. Then she'll call all her friends Mouse, Moose, and more. Come join Stage One’s party and have some fun with pig and friends. A musical based on the popular “If You Give”…book series.
Recommended for Grades Pre K - 3
Please arrive at 11:45 to be seated with the group.

Humane Society
Visit the main branch of the Humane Society for a tour and lessons on dog safety. After our lessons, we will get to play with the dogs and cats! Admission cost will be a donation from the following list. A note from the Humane Society:
KHS is a non-profit organization. They are in constant need of supplies and one way the children like to help the community’s homeless animals is to donate items to the shelter. Below is a list of much needed items.
•cat litter (no scoopable, please)
•bleach
•laundry soap
•fabric softener
•collars (no choke collars, please)
•cat and dog treats (soft preferred; no rawhides please)
•grooming supplies (clippers, shears, razor, etc.)
•large latex gloves
•paper towels
•towels/blankets
•pet toys
•garbage bags
•sandwich bags
Limited to 40 people total--including adults.
Deadline is March 1, 2010.

Walk Through History
The Walk Through History Program is an event for students to pick a time (ie., 1939-1945), event (ie., the Boston Tea Party), a subject (ie., the Civil Rights Movement) or person (ie., Mahatma Gandhi) and do a display, diarama, paper, oral interpretation, etc. of their topic. The Walk Through History event will start at the earliest topic and each student will be stationed according to their place in history. The student should be able to talk about their subject, their research and why they picked this topic to judges/visitors. |

Nine-year-old Peter Hatcher's life would be sweet if it weren't for Fudge, his toddler terror of a brother. Two Beans Productions captures all the humor, sibling rivalry and elementary school angst of Judy Blume's book in their play Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing!

Louisville Water Company Tour
This tour combines history and science to help children and adults understand the importance of safe drinking water. Tour begins at the Water Tower-(3005 River Rd.) and includes historic water tower and pump station, and current pumping station and Crescent Hill Reservoir.
They ask that no children under 8 attend due to nature of the tour--this includes siblings. Please wear sturdy shoes-no flip flops or Crocs. We will mostly be outside, so wear appropriate clothing. Adults will need a photo ID.
This field trip is FREE and limited to the first 20 children.
