Our mission is to bring glory to God in all that we do.

Our purpose is to inform and educate homeschool parents, promote individual support groups, strengthen relationships within our homeschool community, as well as serve as an outreach to our local community.

The HomeForHisGlory Yahoo list began in June 1999 and today has over 950 subscribers.

In 2006, we established HomeForHisGlory-Educational Co-op at two campuses. We now have three campuses in the Louisville area.

The goal of HomeForHisGlory, Inc. is to provide valuable resources for the homeschool community in Kentuckiana and to grow our community closer through real life opportunities and events, such as HFHG Live Meetings, Educational Co-ops, Annual Homeschool Fair, Field Trips, Service Projects and Academic Testing.

Our Executive Board

Our President is Dr. Jonathan T. Pennington.

Dr. Jonathan Pennington (www.jonathanpennington.com) is Assistant Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Seminary in Louisville. Before receiving a PhD from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland he earned the Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Northern Illinois University. During college he and his (future) wife Tracy were very involved in Campus Crusade for Christ. During his seminary years Jonathan served for five years as the associate pastor at a church in northern Illinois. He has done extensive teaching, preaching and lecturing throughout the country, including homeschool speaking such as at last year’s Midwest Homeschool convention. In addition to his teaching at the seminary and speaking engagements, he also serves as the worship pastor at Grace Church Louisville. He is the author of several Greek and Hebrew teaching tools, academic articles, devotional materials, and most recently two books entitled Heaven and Earth in the Gospel of Matthew and Cosmology and New Testament Theology.

He and his wife Tracy have been blessed with six children (2 girls and 4 boys), ages 13 and under. They have always homeschooled and love to do so! Music is a big part of their family’s culture as are scouting, game-playing, and Legos. While Tracy does the bulk of the weekly homeschooling, Jonathan is directly involved in the children’s Bible, catechism, and virtue instruction as well as Latin and music. He looks forward to serving the Kentuckiana homeschool community through HFHG.
